Well I got rejected for applying to volunteer in my old school working in the Art Department. I only found out because I emailed them a week later asking whether they meant me emailing the CV or physically mailing it...

I hate this. Every opportunity I go for closes in my face. I rarely get a response back as well so I wait and wait for silence.

Feels like I'm going to be like this forever. I can't be bothered with this any more.

So I took the family dog back to the pound today.

...I didn't realize how hard it would be for me. The dog obviously knew what was going on and didn't want to go, which made it all the harder. I tried petting him to make it easier for him, and he just leaned on me and looked up and me and... well... yea. Sad. :(

I know (for me at least) telling someone that I find them attractive is already a big enough deal. That would just make me want to spend the rest of my life as a hermit!

It wasn't even a "I'm interested in you and want to put my wang inside you" sort of thing... I figure I shall just put this person on the ever growing 'don't waste time on' list.

Still. Feels bad man.

I was at the bank yesterday and had to describe my current situation. Now I'm feeling like a bit of a walking cliche. :? Even though I'm pretty happy with my life overall, whenever I try to compare it to where a "normal" person should be it never ends well, even though I know it shouldn't matter.

Trying to not be sick when I hear that my friend who never finished Uni and got fired from his last job has an apprenticeship as a Computer Service person... :( Jealousy.

Apprenticeship for computer service? I didn't know that was a thing.

Also, I don't know if I would feel bad about that. Computer Service person is not exactly a highly difficult or high paying job. (Atleast the way most computer "service" companies use their "service persons")

I keep wanting to write a ranty blog post about what depression actually is (at least for me) after a friend I'd not seen in a while completely misunderstood what it is.

On a less depressing note, 5th November I go to the doctors to begin the final stage of coming off the pills.

So... I didn't end up going to RI Comicon. The morning of, I just didn't feel like it. I figured, "I don't know if I'm gonna have fun." So instead, I just stayed home and now I regret not doing it.

So yeah. Either way, same reaction. It kinda sucks. But at least when I talk myself into doing something, I end up DOING something.

I tried making brownies because Tally told me to. They turned out awful. :(

EDIT: Here are the fail 'brownies' as well as some better cookies:

For the last few days I've just felt so out of it. Nothing really makes me happy because I feel like I'm constantly stuck in this void like state where I just feel deflated ... empty. Nothing stimulates me in a positive manner, but as I noticed I seem to cry very easily.

I want this mood to go away. I don't like feeling like this. I want to enjoy the things I do.

So yesterday I said the cookies I made turned out good. What I meant was they looked good. Turns out I had spilled salt in them. Salt cookies go in garbage and Kapol fails at making any nomy treats...

I wonder how normal this is:

The vast majority of my childhood I remember:

1) Being scared of monsters (Drowned in nightmares)
2) Car Sickness
3) Tonsillitis annually.
4) My mum shouting at me/dad/sister/about someone
5) My mum crying on a walk because she prolapsed
6) Best friend fucking off and moving away
7) A few good memories
8) Wetting the bed.

I know in the scheme of things, my childhood is heaven compared to some other people. Still doesn't stop me feeling a bit sad. And with 23 years of bottled emotion every time I hear my mum's bansheeous scream that pierces the air like a klaxon. I've put it in this thread as it's more of a retrospective and makes me feel sombre rather than ranting at my inconsistent mother.

I don't feel like I have anyone that I'm close enough to to have taken a BFF photo with for the DB challenge. I also don't live anywhere near any of the best friends that I do have.

The last couple days I've been feeling like utter shit and I don't know why. It makes Desert Bus hard to watch. I'm not sure if it's actually tied to it or not. Who knows?

If you noticed a few people had cats and or intimate objects. You're not alone :) I moved away from my BFF and then the one BFF I had here moved away. I pretty much just spin around in my chair on weekends now.

Gah, I thought I'd been doing OK.

But today I can't motivate myself to do anything, all I want to do is crawl back into bed and sleep. But I slept for at least 13 hours last night, and on waking spent another 2 in bed reading before finally surfacing at 3PM. I can't still be tired.

The last few times I've felt like this have usually been a precursor to a week or two of me feeling very low, not sure how I'm going to cope without the pills right now. I feel too tired, too drained, and too lacking in motivation to even run through basic CBT techniques right now.
