Yeah, but games and a video are quite different. You don't really need to be worried about viruses if you ensure to download it from a good place like Piratebay(and ESPECIALLY if you make sure that the torrent maker has a VIP or Trusted tag).

I'll start watching when I can, thanks.

I think one other reason why I didn't start watching besides The Red Wedding being the first thing of Game of Thrones I've ever watched was that when I start watching something, I get into it. And it had been not long since I crammed watching Merlin.

It's like watching Big Brother in a huge massive giant house with much death, but less suffering and sex.
Oh and Dragons are there and memes.

At least I can catch up with my life model observations. Well, it's heavily female anatomy biased regarding that area.

How dare you compare Game of Thrones to Big Brother. KILL THE HEATHEN!

I'm pretty sure that would the comparison Charlie Brooker would make.

I still say that Lady Stoneheart would be a bigger thing to end the season on.

I feel like if Arya and Daenerys ever met, they would probably unite. They seem to have a lot in common. For starters, I know all their family are dead. Arya still has her sister and Bastard Snow as far as I know, but that's still not many. I would feel like Daenerys would empathise with Arya.

I'm still on series 1. But I have stated, I have watched clips from the future.

Arya has lots more family than that. She has Ricken on bear island, Bran with the three eyed crow, her brother in law Tyrian, Robert/Robin her cousin, and some speculate that John is her legitimate cousin not her illegitimate brother. Also Daenerys has her uncle Aemon, her husband Hizdahr zo Loraq, her nephew Aegon who holds a claim higher than her which makes him Aegon VI, also some would say that John snow is legitimately John Targaryen that Rhaegar divorced himself from Elia Martell and married Lyanna Stark before taking here 'captive'

only one of them is a fan theory, they other ones are directly presented, and that fan theory is more of connecting the dots. Martin has said he has considered redoing the story he has planned because fans have made connections to things he thought had been more subtle.

To be honest the Jon Snow as Lyanna and Rhaegar's son was very loudly hinted at in the first book. If Mr Martin changes things now it might not make as much sense overall and fans will be in uproar with mobs and pitchforks.

But hey it's his story he can do what he likes :D

I'm hoping that Martin actually makes Jon Snow Eddard's bastard son, just to screw with fans.

No if he wants to screw with people. The Baratheon children are truely the baratheon children and legitimate heirs, and while Jaime and Cerci are intimate, Jaime is sterile, turns out he took a hit to the crotch when he was killing the king, which means that the whole war of the five kings was predicated on a complete lie because roberts children were legitimate and Eddard had been duped.

Back a war Rhaegar was saving Lyanna when he found out that Brandon Stark was secretly raping and torturing her and that Robert was complacent in it knowing what was going on but didnt want to tell his friend Eddard and he really didnt care all that much about Lyanna he was having so much fun with all the whores of westerose. Jon is actually Brandon and Lyanna's incest rape baby. Eddard found out but refused to talk about it because he didnt want to bring shame on his brother and sister or on the stark name because the whole war and countless deaths were perpetrated on the concept of honor.

The Mad king was in fact not mad at all it is a myth that has been perpetuated after the rebellion to legitimize it, the whole wildfire plot is a creation of Jaime to try to explain away what really happened, he was drunk in the throne room and swinging his sword around like a dingus, Aerys and his hand the pyromancer were trying to calm him down when Jaime accidentally slashed at them and killed them both. The reason that Aerys executed Brandon was because of the repeated attacks on his sister, Rickard killed himself after Brandon confessed

That wouldn't surprise me since it's heavily hinted in the show that recorded incidents may not actually be accurate of what actually happened

Not quite (only unspoiler if you're current in the books);
Rickon is on Skagos, not Bear Island. Skagos is a much worse place, it's why Lord Manderly sent Davos to smuggle him back. Aemon Targaryen died on the trip south from the wall with Sam.

Are the white walkers like The Daleks? They have to appear at least once per series or else HBO loses the rights to them?

Granted I've only seen two series by now, but it's starting to feel like that.

Well, their return is kind of the driving force behind the Wall storyline, so they might as well make an appearance now and then.

I just found the end of series 2 slightly funny when they reappeared. It was like them saying "Yo! We're still here" in a very zombie screamy way.
