Crowdsourcing questions for DBX gameshows

Postby noy2222 » 25 Aug 2016, 00:02

Hi gang.
As you may remember, last year I wrote 3 Family Feud games for Desert Bus. It was a lot of fun (and a lot of hard rushed unplanned work) and at the end James challenged me to make a game for every morning of the next Desert Bus.
I have a lot of material already planned (and to not make my life easy, every game will have some kind of audience participation, so nothing would be completely ready before the run) but I could use some more questions.
If you have ideas please help me out by filling this Google Form.

And while we're at it, if you'd like to contribute and join the Unofficial DBX Gameshow Team (currently consisting of mostly myself) let me know. We (by which I mean I) could really use people who could help make the games visually appealing (as oppose to James reading out a Word document).

I submitted some suggestions.

And also spent 2 hours watching Family Feud clips on youtube.

Done, not sure if the questions are good but I hope they help, in the worst case as a negative "boring" example. ;)

I put in my 5 and 5. I think I'll be able to come up with more feud style questions, though I don't know if I'm making them too vague or specific.

I'm hoping to get either an HTML or flash version for most of the games, but we'll see. the premade Powerpoint versions always seem to lack something.
Thanks to those who already contributed, keep those questions coming.

Here's a small teaser of what I've been working on these past few weeks.
I think I created a Google document of questions minutes after the ending of Desert Bus 9 and I just finished writing and assembling two games.
If nothing else, these silly project teach me just how difficult it is to be a gameshow writer. At least the good gameshows, none of those "5 multiple answers questions spread over 30 minutes".
At any rate, lots of post production work after the run starts, so make my job easier by coming up with more Family Feud and survey questions.
Thanks guys!

Edit: Another small request - List nouns. Any nouns you want, on any subject, any relations, doesn't matter. Thanks.
