Yeah... I remember that. I stand by it.

I DID really like Road Quest, and I made sure to tell Graham that in person the last time we were together.

I do miss having a forum to hang out in, where things are a little more permanent than on Discord.

Apparently I also still have my password. What a trippy thread to pop into.
Nice to see everyone still existing in the world. <3

For real, especially with Twitter collapsing.

The forum came to mind for some reason and I somehow remembered my password! It was a trip seeing all these names again. Hope everyone is doing well, especially Lavos and Morgan

Interestingly enough, Discord now has a forum-type feature on it...

I don't think they've implemented it WELL, though.

I think the only way we will ever settle that debate is highlander style in a Waffle House parking lot.

But yeah, I really feel like the internet has become too ephemeral. And it seems like more people are becoming dissatisfied with how things are, but I think most of those people are just giving up and leaving the internet all together. I don't blame them, sometimes I want to join them, but I love my memes, and what little online community I have left. Maybe I am getting too old. Or maybe my priorities have changed. idk

I've talked to Morgan, he seems well. He's got a family and kids now, a couple of step, and one biological. He's gotten big in to spirituality and all that, he seems very unplugged these days. He'll show up on Facebook with a couple of pics of his baby and some random posts about whatever cause he's passionate about at the moment, and then disappear for months.

Here's a recent video that I think honestly explains why the Internet feels so different than it did when this forum was active: https://youtu.be/fuFlMtZmvY0
At the very least, it really resonates with me, personally.
