I know there's basically no activity on here anymore, but this doesn't seem like the thing to post on Discord because it pertains specifically to the forum.
Next year, next September 27th, I will have been a part of this forum for TWENTY YEARS. WTF? How is that even possible? Where the hell does the time even go, it feels like yesterday I'm finding "Who Watches Movies?" on a link aggregator called Milk & Cookies, and then binging the downright minuscule amount of videos this Canadian sketch comedy troupe had made at that point.
Twenty Years. That can't be right, 20 years ago was the 80s...
Anyways, don't expect any responses, I just logged in and saw that date and was kind of shocked. Why does time do that to us?
20 years...

Re: 20 years...
Some of us still haunt these walls every now and again... I definitely prefer this to a Discord, but I also get discs from Netflix, so I clearly don't have my stuff together. Comparatively, I have not been a part of the LRR community for so long, but fifteen years is a long time indeed.
How are ya, Tensen? Still doing the art thing? Still making women faint with a single flex of your bicep?

I'm well, I suppose. Not as much as I used to, but I still art things up now and then. Mostly for my online TTRPG sessions, very little illustration anymore. NEVER did that though lol

Mostly just pop in on this now and then to make sure spambots don't take root.
20 years! That sure is a long time for anything, including forum membership. Congratulations! Also I'm sorry.

Hey, it does still happen... in the past 12 months I've had to ban an entire two accounts for being spambots.

Not going to lie, I'm SHOCKED I haven't been banned form the discord.
I miss the venting days (as a nonmod), the days of weekly video discussions, and the days of meeting new people. Things were slower then. More cherished
But nowadays I do get the instagratification. The quicker answers are nice, the change of language, and just having somebody there whenever.
I miss yall, but the times are a changing.

I don't know whether to say "age is just a number," or "I feel that. Mostly in my hips."

Re: 20 years...
Speaking of feeling old, it was surreal watching the LRR sketch stream last night and seeing sketches that I saw as a teenager where the cast seemed like such Adults, and now realizing that I'm close to a decade older than they were in some of those videos...

Today's the day! Happy 20th Anniversary, LRR.
Re: 20 years...
Congratulations on 20 years of LoadingReadyRun!
I first started watching a bit over 17 years ago and although I haven't had much time to keep up with everything the last few years it's been great to see how LRR has grown over that time.

Hard to believe it's been 20 bussing years...
Also hard to believe it's been 15 years since I've started watching this group...
