Guitar hero for PS2...

Postby Wraith » 08 Nov 2007, 21:22

So, I was recently given a $150.00 target gift card. I was going to get a DS, but the stupid consoles are only available in the store. So, I'm thinking Guitar Hero. One thing I've noticed is that they have Guitar hero 2 & 3 with the controller, and Guitar Hero 1 without the controller. My question is, can you play Guitar Hero 1 & 2 with the Guitar Hero 3 controller? I know a lot of you guys play, so...help?

yeppers... and if you plan on playing with friends (which i think is the best part) you should get 2 controllers! My friends and I always play with the co-op because its the best...

The guitar controller is just a controller, like DualShocks and RedOctane DDR pads. The game plays exactly the same on all of them.

EDIT: by all of them, I mean all guitar controllers. A DDR floor pad to play Guitar Hero would be brutal.

Also, you can use the GH guitar with Rock Band if you choose to get it later.

you can indeed use GH on Rock Band, but from what i gather dont expect to be able to use Rock Band controllers on GH.

Wonder if you can use the Singstar mic on Rockband..
