NOT THE DAILY MAIL!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... words.html
A bit of background the Daily Mail newspaper in the UK is a Political Left Wing paper that has sensationalist articles or down right pure crap in its papers.
Funny a scrabble game which uses the English dictionary to its full extent and why was her child using the game online anyway unsupervised or using those words already?

Message to the mother: QQ moar. As if the kid hasn't already said "fuck" when a fire-engine goes past. I know I did.
She also doesn't make sense with the "he's good at English, so I decided to try and improve his vocab". At least now he'll know how to say "motherfucker... not another shitty day at school with all those wankers".
Being able to vocalise that particular state of mind? That's surely a reward.
If they knowingly published it like this, then ok... there's a problem. But I'm guessing there's more to this.

Your joking right? Daily Mail, left wing. I think I'm going to have to slap some sense in to you with a copy of the Guardian.

I'm with the mom on this one. I don't want my Scrabble game to play words like that against me, or especially against my kids.
Just because this is a story saying negative about a video game, does that mean it's an ignorant or stupid article by default? Is everyone really that counter-biased? The article is very journallistic and fair, in my opinion, and it isn't being sensationalist or condemnatory to any real degree.

I am going to purchase the game anyway and red through the manual to find this and play it myself. I don't believe it would randomly throw in some swear words without some form of prompting by itself. Also it is suppose to contain a junior verison as well. My question is against the mirror's arguement.
I swear the articale has been changed because earlier when I posted it the Daily Mail claimed if a simple Mother found it what stops all our childern learning swear words and bringing destruction to our planet - pretty sure. (Although according to timestamps its not)
Anyway my point is that PEGI should've noticed this if it was prevelant to the game or there was a failing from the game manufacturers on their behalf to notify of this. I'll be emailing PEGI tonight once I get home anyway since I rather would like to not see their authority undermined like it happened in America with ESRB.

I am almost willing to bet that the game doesn't throw out the profanity until it is used by the player. I mean, I could understand "tits" coming up out of nowhere, it is a bird after all, but then to come up with more 'swear words' out of nowhere? I mean, the NEXT word being "fuckers"? Really?
Hell, I almost wonder if it wasn't just the kid doing it all along, and when the mom saw the game and the words used the kid was all like "Erm, yeeeeah. That motherfuckin' game put all these shitty-ass words before I could do a damn thing ma."

I got annoyed at this, mainly because of someone else's comment on the Dail Mail site so I left a comment attacking both the Mail and that person.

Sounds like a good way to perpetuate the general stupidity found on popular Comment sections.
Don't say you aren't part of the problem. O_O

You are right. I got my left wing mixed up with my right wing... Can you blame me? I'm not a bird.

Umm, OED and Webster's both contain just about every colloquial term yet used in English for more than about 2 years. Scrabble rules allow a dictionary to be agreed upon, and I think that the Official Scrabble Dictionary pretty much cribs OED.
The point of all this (not to the thread; preaching to the choir): it's motherfucking English, douchebags.
(Odd. My spell check flags "douchebags" and not "motherfucking.")
