Despite having nearly no context for the video (haven't read the book or seen the movie, but I know who the characters are and a bit about them), I found it extremely funny. The implication that the committees featured all exist merely for the purpose of answering "but who watches them" is great.

Also, the speculation regarding whether Nite Owl's groceries might be for the purpose of crimefighting was hilarious.

Personally I think the ultimate answer is that Manhattan, being omnipotent if not nearly so, watches those who watch the watchers of the watchers of the watchmen.

I think that explanation is a little too straightforward.

I would imagine that the guy who watches Jeff has his own live 24 hour podcast of his daily activities hosted on Youtube which is watched by everyone, everyone then is watched by a secret clandestine order watched by conspiracy theorists watched on Youtube by some people watched by the government for their suspicious interest in conspiracy theories and to protect government secrets. The government is watched by aliens watched by a group of deaf mute illiterate astronomers watched by monkeys tagged and watched by Primatologits watched by Wikipedia edited by monkey enthusiasts watched on Youtube by the Dutch (AGAIN!) watched by Germany watched by France watched by Britain watched by Canada watched by Bears watched by tiny ants that live in the grass featured in the grass growing webcam on Arthur B Borington's Webimapage which has a small following.
These folks are watched by Borington himself as he revels in their dull states of intense boredom.

Unfortunately no one watches Borington because Loading Ready Run makes videos that are far too entertaining! LRR you endanger the world with your wild hilarity!

But fortunately the dangers here have been avoided as LRR recently made the "Watchmen Watching" video so that WE at least for a brief moment are the ones watching the guy watching Jeff watching the Watchmen Watchers watching the Watchmen Watching the world (At least that's what I assume the plot of Watchmen involves).

The audio when James was up on the stand really bothered me. Whoever was holding the boom wasn't doin' it rite, and his levels were constantly fluctuating depending on where his head was turned. It was really distracting.

Actually, the audio overall seemed really sub-par this week. Were you guys just using the in-camera mic? There was a lot of white noise in the background, and that would explain James' changing volume.

The video itself was pretty silly, but I haven't seen/read Watchmen, so I'm assuming I missed a lot of the jokes.

* Thank you for avoiding any mention of "Doctor Manhattan's Project". My wife made me see the movie this weekend and, apparently, when he reassembled himself he used some racehorse parts.

* Oh God. My eyes.
