I wondered when someone was going to post this. He was a safe bet in the celebrity death pool. Still - very sad to see him go. I thought the man stayed gold. <3

People have asked me if I hold to a unifying theory that informs my writing on cinema. Ghost is the only Swayze movie I own -- and not for Swayze, for Mike Jittlov's special effects -- but I'll have to give it a watch soon. Poor guy. I hope hope he had a good time on his way out.

Side note, one of out thousands of British celebrity chefs have died today, Keith Floyd, not as important as Swayze but 2009 has been a bit of a savage year.
