Stuck in the middle of a game decision

So, im looking through steam on which game to pick up, and Im stuck between two games, L4D2 or TF2, I really like L4D2 on xbox for the trial but i know how short it is . Ive heard alot of good things about TF2 and like games like it (COD, CS, etc) just shooting and killing. Any suggestions which to pick up? if you have another suggestion ill take it into consideration. Im thinking of getting may star wars online though but idk if i'd like it

Playing on PC? Go for TF2. Best fun I've ever had (not the best game mind, but pure unadultered fun).

I'm not sure the 360 version has all the updates so couldn't recommend it.

I'm assuming that you're talking about PC because of STO, so yeah, TF2. Might as well get the Orange Box too(assuming you don't already have every other game included in it) seeing as it's only $10 bucks more.

I didn't enjoy L4D 2 as much as the first. So my vote goes for TF2.

if it's for a purchase go with red dead, I love remedy but I hear that game is like 8 hours tops

also please tell me the poll was right and you don't mean star wars galaxies by your post, but rather star trek... cause galxies is a festering pile of turd, except the tie fighter like space part.

Unless you have 3 other people to regularly play with, I'd go for TF2 over L4D2. Left 4 Dead is a great game, but you really really need regular friends to play with. When the first one came out I was playing at lunchtimes at work with my co-workers, and we had a blast. When the second one came round, I didn't have the same environment to play in and I stopped playing shortly after I bought it. With TF2, it's much easier to just jump in and start having fun regardless of who you're playing with.

It's going to make me sound like an indie snob or something, but fuck it. I say go for TF2 because it's really campy and corny and cheesy. Really. I love how rediculous the game is, plus it's a ton of fun when you get to play with people.

Well, I have TF2, don't play as much as I should, but you should find me as Ozzytizer on steam, though my display name is [OSF]Fighter. Which, you'll probably find me on the OSF server, though I sometimes run around on random servers. I've got plenty of other stuff on Steam, both L4D's, Borderlands, Bad Company 2, and Killing Floor. Just play MP stuff for fun when I'm around, but more often with people I know.
