Suspiciously Good Movers

When you need something moved in a little less time than it probably ought to take...

I'd just like to make it entirely clear that I am posting here because I found your advert entirely convincing and I believe you when you say you don't have teleporter, and not in any way because I thought it was hilarious. Why, for me to think it was hilarious, I'd have to have a sense of humour, and who has one of those?

...

Well yes, okay, I have one of those. But I only use it for watching videos of cats on YouTube, not for laughing at jokes. That would just be preposterous!

Good to see Kate in a video, rather than just as the boom girl.
Also good to see a return of Pauls clone, he's been missed dearly.

Now, on a serious note. Was it just me that thought the video was too short for it's subject? Let me explain. Normally, when you have something this absurd and being played straight as it was, it's either a short video that feels like "Hey, we don't have a teleporter... well we do... RUN!" or it goes for quite as if someone left the camera rolling a little too long. Yet todays video seemed to fall somewhere in-between the two of them, and while I still laughed, when it was over I found myself thinking "...Oh, that's it?"

Though, it's probably just me, so I'm just going to run and hide from everyone else now.

Also, is it just me or is Grahams beard getting longer?

I thought it was great. Like you said, the two extremes are the norm, they're what's out there already. And, to be honest, I never find them to be all that funny; either it seems like they just didn't commit to the joke enough (...RUN!) or it's overstaying its welcome and dragging.

This video hit all of the notes it needed to (in that it commits to the joke, then pokes holes in its own joke, and then recommits to a slightly altered version of the joke, all the while building more and more ridiculous), and didn't feel too long and drawn out.

This was definitely one of the funnier videos I've seen recently. Well dong.

The split/screening was excellent this time round. Also, who's moving this time, Graham and Kathleen?

I desperately wanted Paul to be listed in the credits a half dozen times.
This is why we can't have nice things.

Geez, where were you guys when I was moving LAST month! I really could have used some super-fast-but-not-at-all-using-a-teleporter moving assistance.

Why would you need a teleporter at all if you can clone someone all you need to do is turn genome C-79 on and B-23.... I mean I don't have a genetics lab in my basement cloning an army of super soldiers!

I'm always for videos that have more than one Paul!

I thought about the teleporting issue before. I don't know if anyone is like me, but I'm freaked out that it would just kill me and create a clone. For that reason I believe if we ever figure out that technology (and we might, we can transfer data, now we need something that can build stuff on the other end based on such data, and I guess absorb the first item to power itself or something. Although a duplicator would work fine too).

Anyway, my theory had been that they would be used in post offices. You know, when they're still industrial and nobody can afford their own. Only to be used on non-living things, and more expensive than other types of shipping, but delivered immediately!

Obviously this video reminded me of the whole thing.

This is supposed to be a local-company cable commercial, right? It needs a phone number on the bottom or something. Anyway, awesome job.

This went from funny to hilarious right around the time Graham started talking about how they don't have the very specific kind of power source needed for a teleporter to work... well, they do, but they use it to dump garbage. :D

That was good! .... Suspiciously good.... >.>

Excellent foray into physical comedy, guys. You guys absolutely killed it on this video. Graham's delivery in the first bit was perfect with the head motions, and the subtle change to the over detailed specifications was very well written and delivered. Top notch, gentlemen (and ladies)!

I must say, though, based on the title I originally thought it would be a group of movers who just broke your shit and had new, identical items waiting at your new residence. I've rarely been happier to be wrong.

...*raises eyebrow* I am skeptical of your claims and wish to subscribe to your space-time continuum-bending newsletter. It shouldn't be that hard to make, I mean, you have Paul! And Paul. Also, Paul.
