It is the Cyrillic letter Ef which is based on the Greek letter Phi.

I mean... I always knew the Care Bears was basically Pravda for kids. Sharing is caring indeed, Lenin! But this... well, I'm glad I plonk my kids in front of loop of Fox News all day. The guys there are so cartoonish looking, they never even know the difference!

Eh, I guess if you turn your head and squint, it sorta resembles a 'Ф'... if you got rid of the middle of the vertical bar, and extended the serifs to ridiculous levels...

Also, I'm not entirely sure what "RFIU" is supposed to mean... Google tells me it's a "Radio-Frequency Interference Unit", which I'm not 100% sure makes sense in context.

If you dislike communism so much, why you talk like bad Russian translation, with article missing from sentence?

Because my parents did same to me, except Fox wasn't around then, so I just had to listen to recordings of John Birch society. Sometimes recordings would skip.

This is one of the most entertaining things I've read all week. :D

Time for a nerd confession- I've never seen and/or read Dune. And I'm sure we have the movie, given I remember my mom complaining about my Dad liking it. :?

I can top that; I started watching Dune earlier this year and was so bored and disinterested that I stopped after about half an hour.

But you missed the highly important Sting Sex-knife fighting, and fat guy getting popped like a balloon and the attack of the Daft Punk army and... yeah, okay. I know what there were a few Alan Smithy's in the credits of that film.

The book was mediocre.

The movie was awful.

LRR, the consensus is in.

We are disappoint at Dune.
