I smell like carpets.
The most unique, nicest, and confusing individual you will get to know. Don't be stupid around me, that's my job.

I like people's natural smells too. Not like BO or anything but just... how they smell. Their skin, their hair, and so on. It's nice - it's them.
Now I don't really go around sniffing people, but the few people I let hug me all smell quite distinctive and elicit different feelings.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
Cologne, in addition to general bodily hygiene. And if you have to choose between the two, bodily hygiene comes first.
Amount: not too much, but enough.
Occasion: Not all the time, but for when it counts.
For the record, I'm generally a fan of people smelling like they do, but on advice I got recently, I'm now wearing it for nights out/important moments.

I'm in the "just take regular showers" camp, I don't see the need for cologne; just another thing I would have to waste money one.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

The other thing is, if you're going to wear cologne, there's no point unless you're going to get some good (read; expensive) stuff. So... yeah.

The most obvious thing people forget this applies to is having clothing always rubbing against your skin - we're the only animal that covers itself in quite this strange manner.

Human beings are strange and flawed in a lot of ways really, which is very good to keep in mind when pursuing romance.

Well....
I'd have said that she's not interested in sex rather than ineffectual at breeding, but I guess you could argue they're the same thing. : )
But other than that the rest is pretty accurate.
And she's Chinese, because y'know we do animal/nation stereotypes with my friends. Although she does call herself a Panda before anyone thinks we're bulling her.
She's a Panda, I'm a Goose and another of my friends is a Tree.

Actual dog. That would have explained the liking. But I was just poking fun.

Re: The Big Relationship Thread
So I found out somethign awesomely hilarious yesterday
I'm talking to a friend via text that I met on OKC in june and she's like, "yeah I'm over at my friend andreas house" and I'm like... that sounds familiar, no way. So I'm like "short latina girl?" and she's like "well shes from peru". double check on okc mobile and sure enough, one andrea I know is from LIMA PERU. So I'm like, "Holy crap, I think I know her" and sure enough she was her. I met andrea before months before this girl and so according to her, I'm just working my way into her friends circle. Which is a brilliant plan to get close.

That was a very clever and forward thinking plan. Well done.
I do find that getting a girls friends to like you is always a good thing.

Elf and I are doing a kind of penpal thing over Christmas, since we're both too busy to really meet up on Steam and chat reliably. So far it's rather adorable.

Oddly enough, just watched a Checkpoint and there was a cologne ad ahead of it.

think that's smart huh? Well tonight I ALSO invited her for a visit up to the grand canyon. Kicking it rim side seats. Then dinner at a restaurant not 200 feet from it. BOOSH. Ninja drops back, jump shots, HE SCORES.
No, but seriously, its gonna be awesome when she arrives. Going to show her a nice time and let her leave all her worries behind.

Wow you have this all planned out, right down to scoring afterward. Well done.
Re: The Big Relationship Thread

On a separate note; my dreams have apparently taken to taunting me. Something along the lines of "See? If you hadn't chickened out this is what could have happened"

I get similar dreams from time to time. The trick is too remember that your subconscious is an asshole.

^ especially when you realise it's planning future dates with a girl you've yet to ask out.
minor update from my side of things, Tasha and I seem to be in friends status as far as I can tell, which I'm happy with. Been texting a bit with Holly, nothing serious, but with the show over and done last month there's no "reason" for contact, so the fact she's happy to keep conversation going can only be a good sign.

And on a similar note, if two guys can figure who I am interested in afte watching us interact over the course of a few hours that doesn't bode well for my ability to conceal it does it?
