It's everything but the penny farthing, and a deep look at Graham's old floppy disks. Behind the scenes of The New Old Thing.

Ah, when Lucasarts was doing military-themed games, spinning off their flight-sim start, and Electronic Arts still spelled out their name, and were "the artists' publisher"
Oh, and I was going to say that I had the exact same 5.25" floppy caddy...but then, I think there was really only one design.
Agreed on the 'DRM' of yesteryear, I actually got a pirated copy of the Jack Nicklaus golf game...where someone had either drawn out the course maps, or traced them off the 'anti-photocopy' sheet.
And discovering the source of the LRR theme...sadly, I cannot find the credits to EPYX's "The Sporting News Baseball"...
Nonetheless, thanks for the nostalgia trip!

I have three separate designs for 5.25" caddies (I've a lot of Apple][e software -- most of the discs still work, too).
As long as your users don't mind learning some command-line syntax, no-GUI OSes are easier to support than anything else, because even though it's easier for the user to jack up, you can usually read a log and see what happened, instead of guessing what shiny thing caught the users' attention this time.

My mind is blown! Heard in context it's even more of a shock as the 'take me out the ballgame' riff just breaks down in to it. Very cool.

The full LRR/Sporting News Baseball theme was actually used in an older sketch, It's Very Simple.

I'm still happy with that. The music is uncut, it just transitions right back into Take Me Out
