Re: The General Chat thread
OH dear god it is a never-ending stream of sorries! We need to get off this track as quick as we can.
So...
...Anyone else working Christmas day? (Duckay is taking a moment to be a sook.)

Do you have a half shift or a full shift on Christmas then Duckay? (Assuming you are working)

State or DC?
Either way that's pretty cool.

I'm not sure how you define your terms, but it's what I'd call a standard day shift - 8 hours.
It makes me feel a bit bad though because I've never met this client before and I can't think of much worse for a kid in care than spending Christmas Day with an unfamiliar worker.

Re: The General Chat thread
I meant are you doing the normal hours you do, or a shorter day.

Eh, I normally do 8 hour days or a 16 hour overnight, so I suppose you'd call it a full shift?

Hey, was wondering, if anyone knows where I can watch Jeremy Petter's Extra Life game at Wotc_DnD? It seems to have disappeared.

I think that would be the Commodore Hustle: The Gay Chicken. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9G3tOyTyi3M
The guy is Morgan, and the cat is Khaavren. The scene is at the beginning of the episode.
EDIT: That's weird, did a message get deleted or moved?
EDIT2: I've checked, this user posted a message, asking me to identify an episode, but it got deleted: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=39177

Which bit didn't you get?
If it was the low-hanging fruit bit, it means he was making an easy joke.

Re: The General Chat thread
My daughters each have Nooks that we got them for free games and books last Christmas. They invented a game today called "double book"
Each child picks a story from their nook, and one has it read the first page, then the other one has their tablet read page two of their book, back to the first book for page three.
They are currently reading Snow White and the Tortis and the hare.

Hoppy New Beers everybody... this is both an exortion to enjoy the new year and an announcement that my new home-brew is happily bubbling away.

Re: The General Chat thread
Need some opinions from techy guys.
I'm thinking of getting new RAM for my PC (Currently has 3GB) to maybe make it 6GB or 8GB. Thing is that I have to use (I'm sure) DDR2 RAM systems, which is being outdated by DDR3. I don't know if I should buy something to upgrade my current system or plonk for a new system with DDR3 in it (Changing the motherboard would be a pain for me).
Anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?

I feel deeply sorry for the victims and the family of the victims from the Charlie Hebdo shooting. That was awful and I still don't know what to make of it. (I didn't know where else to write this since it's not a vent in itself)

Re: The General Chat thread
Neither do I. I'm mostly following the events with a general lack of emotion. Don't feel like it's so much that I don't know what to feel, but that I've felt this so many times before.
