I think I owe Kathleen a pint for sending me gifts for donating money when I said gifts were not required. But Canada is ages away. Like there's a whole ocean and stuff in the way.

I have daydreams occasionally about meeting people i admire on the street. Often time its my favorite band, writer, close friends whom have moved away, but recently, after a huge LRR binge (the same binge that made me finally join the forums after watching vids for around three years) The LRR crew has made the list of people I fantasize (in the most innocent and un-creeptastic use of that word) about meeting.

In all honesty i think that how you can tell if your really a fan of something. If you can imagine yourself meeting them randomly and not feeling at all awkward or shunned, but, on the contrary, feeling as though you would be quite accepted and warmly welcomed then it probably something that you appreciate and value just as much as those who make the content in the first place.

I think I lack the vocabulary to properly explain what i meant by that. Hope it made sense.

HeshX, I think I understand! I agree that feeling accepted and well-greeted is something that, if I were to go into the land of dreams, I would have! However, reality is a crushing thing, and when it comes to me...it's kind of like an iron box around a video game. I've got that awkward, somewhat aloof exterior that I only use because I'm scared out of my tree, but deep down I just love meeting people and having good times! At least, I would hope I'm somewhat interesting. My husband seems to think so, anyways!
Tally, I'm used to people around me being either shorter or taller than me. Isn't that strange? My mom, and most of her family, are several inches shorter than I am (I'm 5'7"), and the rest of the people I know seem to be taller! So, I can see it both ways. I've got several smaller friends, though. One of them is a size 0! I keep telling her to eat a sammich. However, I know from her...you gotta watch out around those smaller people! They is crafty folk. :)

Thanks for your answers, guys! I really like hearing the stories! Hehe.

Personally, I would be pretty amazed that I'm actually meeting my most admired group of people on the planet. Then I'd probably shake their hand,s babble for a bit, but then eventually get on the topic of my aspiration of learning advanced filming techniques and a possible career in it. I could talk for hours and have a billion questions about filming, so don't get me started. :P
