The real reason the deck is called "Eggs"
The current Modern "Eggs" deck is actually an updated version of an old Extended deck from 2006 named "Sunny Side Up".
The name eggs actually comes from the Odyssey egg cycle Darkwater Egg, Mossfire Egg, Shadowblood Egg, Skycloud Egg, and Sungrass Egg that were in the original version.
Coverage of the deck from Worlds 2006:

Loved the "pack wars" stinger.
Also, it was called "Sunny Side Up" not just because of the "Eggs" but also because of the name of the card, "Second Sunrise"

I loved all of these actually

Is there any place to watch the full cards? I spotted some edges of flavour text and would love to know the full thing.
Cam's card, if I can make it out correctly, read:
Cameron Lauder 3 U/R U/R
Creature - Human ... Scout
U, T: Cameron Lauder counters target spell. He deals one damage to you and one damage to himself.
Draw a card.
Mara.

What if Alan Turing came up with the test because he was actually a robot and wanted people to find out?

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: Return
Maybe the most naive question ever but is Pack Wars an actual thing and how do you play?
Also Graham's "HELP MEEEE" was perfect
As was Alex's manic "And now we fight!"

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: Return
Pack Wars is (apparently) a real thing.
You take 15 basic lands (three of each type) and mix them in with your booster's contents then start playing without knowing what you'll get.

Hilarious!
So can we infer that there are 8 new episodes?
Also, I miss Matt.

I'm putting my money on 'on purpose'.
The word rogue is one of the most misspelled words on the internet, just go with it.

At first I didn't know what Alex was going to do, then UNHINGED.
And because by some quirk of fate I actually know what Unhinged is, I was like "YES!"

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!
I have absolutely loved every MTG video you guys have done. My wife fell in love with you guys off the Its Magic video. Heck, because she like that video she agreed to come to the Escapist Expo with me, which was awesomepants. She even got a card signed by Graham and Paul which is the only autographed thing either of us own.
So yea, really excited, want this to be a thing for always. Its also so great to have Alex back in videos because yay for Alex. AND NOW WE FIGHT

______________________________
Graham is playable but you would never be able to use is remove a counter ability. 4 green for a 6/6.
Paul is playable and just Massively plain busted.
You can sack two artifacts and bring the same ones back into play, OR bring different ones.
You can flip a coin, if you win you can put a +1/+1 counter on your artifact, if you lose you can put a -1/-1 counter on someone elses artifact.
Kathleen is playable
James is ok but not great but his ability would never go off
Not sure about Jer, dont know what his p/t are his ability clearly cant happen since there are no ducks in MTG
Matts ability is un deck style so outside real rules, if he is a 5/5 he wouldnt be great but he would be good a 5/5 flying trample
Alex is really bad since his ability cant happen
Cam looks good and would be playable but with only 1 toughness unless you pump him somehow his ability kills him.
Graham Stark 3/3 for (G)(G)(G)(G), Creature Human Ringleader
Graham Stark Enters the Battlefield with 3 +1/+1 Counters on him

Re: FRIDAY NIGHTS: Return
I loved the inclusion of Cam, not just because he's Cam, but that he fills the niche of "that guy who insists you can't just open a pack; you must draft." Sometimes you just want to open a pack. There's nothing wrong with that.
Also for some reason my favorite line was Alex's "ow" right after he sat back down and Jer was still comboing out. I don't know why, but it just seemed perfect.
In addition, given that I tend to watch your stuff on other sites it might just be YouTube being YouTube, but... do you usually get that much snippy negativity in the YouTube comments? It seems like every third comment was "This would be great if the acting didn't suck," which I'm just not seeing the rationale on. To be fair, you are acting exaggerated and "unrealistic" to a solid extent, but (especially considering that Friday Nights is a spinoff of cH) that's what you guys do. I'm not sure what they were expecting.

OMG Yes! So glad this is back! Now I want to play pack wars
Also I would completely play Kathleen and Paul in my decks, and with some tweeks most of the others as well. Someone tell Wizards to get on this and make these cards happen! Get Ken Steacy on the art!
