Watchmen Watching

Postby Paul » 16 Mar 2009, 11:25

If you haven't read the Watchmen comic or seen the movie, you should.

No excuses.

wow, interesting invisible video!

Postby hidn_shadows » 16 Mar 2009, 11:33

I'm trying to watch it, but there's no menu functions, like play or anything. is it still being uploaded to the Large Hamster Collider's mainframe's servers as we speak?

I also am having issues. Unless this video is a big black box, in that case, it's working perfectly.

Serious chuckles from this guy at the end. Well done guys!
There are things in this world that I dislike. One of the things I dislike the most is a serious argument, well constructed, delivered by someone who makes themselves difficult to respect.

I had the same issue. Just use the Quicktime version for now.

At first, this seemed like a very detailed pun in video form, but the multi-layered watching really did it for me. I wonder where it ends...

It is going online. I forgot to make it public BEFORE I did the update. Should be there in 5 minutes or so.

EDIT: Online now. Sorry for the delay.

also, the t-shirt ad in the beginning was INCREDIBLY gay. like, homosexual, not stupid.

Ah yes. That made me cringe and recoil in horror at the end.

That bowl of crisps is worryingly empty.

Also, is that flow-map-chart-thing behind the lectern a tool for tracking the Watchmen, or is it just something that you happen to have in the house? Or both?

Apart from that, superb!

Moves like a leopard,
his feet padding down, down, down...
One more animal, one more fox to slip away,
feel the mandible,
of the leopard and his prey.

In terms of comedic timing, the cuts at the end of the ad and the end of the video were great. Just enough time to realize what's happening before it's gone.

Of course, each elicits a very different reaction.

ummm i couldn't focus on the video because I was too busy trying to remove that unfortunate t-shirt ad from my mind. i'm a little surprised something that crude came about without some involvement from morgan.

Haha, did you guys actually script it that way or did James just think it would be funny? Matt looks somewhat disturbed...

it's actually a relationship map for R. Kelly's "trapped in the closet" but it fits with the meeting if you take it as a watchmen chart.

It might not be totally gay. Maybe the inside of Matt's ear tastes better than you think. You know, like that chocolate man in the Axe commercial.

Well, we're watching the video, so I guess it ends with us. Unless there just happens to be somebody watching you. Maybe it's the chocolate man in the Axe commercial.

Dude, it's been 20 minutes. You can't rush the internet. It'll get there sooner or later. I'd do it, but I have no idea what Digg is.

Is it wrong to enjoy the t-shirt ad more than the actual video?
