Friday Nights - The Barrier
Friday Nights - The Barrier
Preparations for launch weekend vary from person to person. Kathleen struggles with tweaks to her Standard deck. Alex loses himself in attempting to solve the release puzzle. Baxter has a ridiculous tail.

I'm still surprised the story hasn't been about Kathleen being tempted by Phenax, but then again the temptation of cats also makes sense too. Now I feel like looking up all the white cats legal in Standard just to make sure.
Also Baxter has a ridiculous tail.

Was Alex's mountain climbing filmed on Christmas Hill?

As always, the cats are rediculusly photogenic. The tail fluff is incredible.

Can't wait to see what Alex does for Journey into Nyx's puzzle. Also I am saddened by Kathleens lack of cats.

FYI, you left two lines out in the "Appearing" section of the credits: Baxter, and Baxter's Tail.

That was my second guess.

I always enjoy how Kathleen's apparel color matches her inner struggle for what type of deck to play.
Is it safe?

I love the noting how hubris in this case was very flavorful in the set. Also, if Baxter comes to subsume the entirety of these videos, I will not be disappointed at all

Kathleens wardrobe is always amazing in these, like how she had the star field nails when she got all devoted to black in the first one.

First of all I want to say that these are awesome. Very professionally done and a hoot to watch.
There's one thing that has been bugging me though and I've finally figured out what it is. There are some parts that seem a bit over-rehearsed. Makes them a bit less natural.
Of course that mostly means you guys are taking this seriously and want to make the best product ever, which is great.
Again, not really criticism though. I'd rather have a video that's slightly over-rehearsed and has a great script than one that seems messy or sloppy. In any case, keep up the good work. I really love these.

Hey does anybody know the music from when Alex is climbing the mountain? Ambient yet super epic with a dash of 80s electro-cheese?

Its done by LRR's good friend Bradley Rains especially for their videos. I found that song clip to be essentially the same as the ones used in a previous FN video for any establishing shots: http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/view/ ... s-GP-Bound
My guess is Bradley either used the same songs (or very similar one) to evoke the same feel. Personally I love them; watching GP Bound always inspires me to go out and look at nature. Just love love love that music.

Thanks! Love. It. I'm checking him out on soundcloud right now.

Kinda hard to play cats and remain loyal to black. For my version of the Angry Kitties deck, I had to delve into Modern, which I am woefully unfamiliar with. And it's basically all White/Green.
Speaking of which, is the card list of the Angry Kitties deck posted anywhere?
